Native Plants

The Pawpaw Chapter will be selling native plants, including butterfly attracting native milkweeds at the 19th annual Master Gardener Plant and Vendor Faire from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8. The event will be held at the Volusia County Agricultural Center, 3100 E. New York Ave., DeLand.  This is on Hwy 44 just east of the I-4 interchange. Admission and parking are free. Pets are not allowed, but service dogs will be admitted.

A list of native plants that the Pawpaw Chapter will have available will be posted here before the sale.

Jon Popisil created a list of native plants for our area that are attractive to butterflies as a follow-up to a program that he presented at one of the chapter meetings.  You can read or download it here.
