Pawpaw Chapter Grants

The FNPS Pawpaw Chapter has two kinds of grants available.

          School Grants & Community Native Landscapes

School Grants

          As part of an ongoing effort to fulfill the mission of the Florida Native Plant Society, the Pawpaw Chapter is offering grants of up to $500 worth of native plants per approved project. Projects must be in schools within Flagler or Volusia County.

Eligible Applicants: Teachers in K-12 schools (with Principal approval) may apply. Previous grant recipients may also apply.

Eligible Projects: Projects must demonstrate the value of native plants for wildlife. Projects may include, but are not limited to the following:
          Establishing or enhancing a butterfly or other pollinator garden
          Establishing or enhancing a native demonstration garden

Community Native Landscape Grants

The Pawpaw Chapter wishes to further the mission of the FLorida Native Plant Society by providing grants to projects to assist in the planting of native plants and educating the community about the benefits of using native plants.

Project Possibilities for Funding:
          Establishing a community or public wildlife garden
          Adding native plants to a garden or preservation area
          Planting native habitat by a river or pond
          Enhancing a public building or public space with Florida native plants
          Educating the public about the benefits of native plants
